Your Hoover Dam tour begins when your professional guide arrives at your Las Vegas hotel in a specially equipped Hummer H2. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a fun, fact-filled DVD on the Hoover Dam as you travel to historic Boulder City, past the shores of scenic Lake Mead, and through the entrance of the Black Canyon.
Upon arrival at Hoover Dam, you will be issued your Discovery Tour ticket (included in tour price), which gives you access to all the Dam attractions, such as an elevator ride 500 feet down into the Dam to tour the expansive generator room. The Discovery Tour is designed to offer ample time to explore this historic landmark. Bring your camera for plenty of photo opportunities ? you might even catch a glimpse of the majestic desert big horn sheep!
