Travel along an impressive 13-mile scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon where
you will view the impressive Wilson Cliffs, part of the 65-million-year-old
Keystone Thrust. There are numerous geological features to behold,
including the fossilized sand dunes of the brillianly colored Calico Hills.
After a brief stop at the Red Rock Visitor's Center and exhibit hall, continue on
an off-road excursion up Rocky Gap road to witness the incredibly diverse
desert vegetation and wildlife as well as true Native American pictographs.
