While checking in at the front desk, I asked for a wake up call. When arriving in our room we noticed there was not a phone in the room. I went and asked the front desk how they were going to wake us up and he said he would knock on the door. The room was not update or clean. The bathroom wallpaper was falling off the wall and all the kauking was gone from the shower. In the morning while showering the bathroom flooded because the lip of the stand up showering was missing. I decided to go get us breakfast to find their complimentary breakfast was a plate of ho-hos!! Then we took the shuttle to the airport and it had to have been missing the muffler. Overall not a good start to our vacation!

10/19/2012Very close to chicago subway. less than 10 minutes walk. i recommend this hotel for short stay at chicago.

Very poor condition
10/11/2012The room furniture would have been rejected by goodwill. the hallway walls were all damaged. the carpeting had extensive staining. all the wall sconces except two were missing their glass. " ...
The room furniture would have been rejected by Goodwill. The hallway walls were all damaged. The carpeting had extensive staining. All the wall sconces except two were missing their glass. "Breakfast" consisted solely of Ho-Hos and coffee. The whole place smelled of room deodorizer. The shower constantly changed temperature and the tub was more stain than porcelain. The hair dryer had exposed wires. The TV kept malfunctioning. The only redeeming feature was the complimentary shuttle to the train station.

staff is ok , but condition of the property interior is very bad. it seems like owner doesn't want to fix any thing... carpet is very bad, some walls in the rooms need better finish... hallway carpet is very old and bad, straches on the walls in hallway. close to airport and shuttle service is ok.

Hotel is in disrepair.
10/03/2012They had a "special" going on. half price rooms. they were only worth what we paid. staff was kind and courteous. everything (and i mean everything) was in horrible disrepair. ...
They had a "special" going on. Half price rooms. They were only worth what we paid. Staff was kind and courteous. Everything (and I mean everything) was in horrible disrepair. The ice machine on our floor was broken. The shower was broken. The A/C in our room was broken. The wallpaper in the hall was ripped. The room numbers in the hall were often just written in pen on the wall. etc. We also had the pleasure of paper thin walls during our stay. I will not be staying here again. *Also, no refrigerators in the room (as seen in the pictures).
