  First of all, we arrive at Miami airport and are told there is a free shuttle to the hotel. A white shuttle pulls up, but when he checks our address he says it is for a different Springhill Suites and that we need to look for a green van that come every 15 minutes. We waited a total of 35 minutes-no sign of a green van. So we decide to pay $30 to take a taxi there. The white shuttle driver should have called or paged the green shuttle to find out where he was-a clear lack of customer service there. The hotel is not in a good part of town, and it was not the type you'd want to take a walk around as it did not look safe. Ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, and service was extremely slow. Only 2 wait staff were handling everything. Good thing we were not diabetic or we would have lapsed into a coma waiting 40 minutes for our food! Again, it would have been nice for SOMEONE to let us know they were short and they were running behind. Driver (Luis) who drove us from the hotel to cruiseport was wonderful and made us feel welcome. Front desk people were fine and helpful. Overall, a disappointment for what we paid.

  My husband needed a procedure done at the Jackson Memorial Hosptial so we picked the closest hotel, it was called the Rodeway Inn and it was HORRIBLE! Luckily we found this wonderful hotel just a block away and stayed here. The customer service is absolutely wonderful and our room was beautiful. Our stay couldn't have been better. We will stay here again when we come back in two weeks. They also had a hospital rate which was wonderful so if you are going to the hospital make sure you mention that.

  We stayed in this hotel for a 2 days, worse 2 days ever. I arrived to this hotel only to find that its in a residential area, old run down houses across the street. Very bad area and location for a hotel. I requested to have a room on the other side of the freeway they kept telling me to call back to see when something came up eventually I just got fed up. Breakfast was processed, other than the cereal it was nasty. They have laundry facility but they provided no change for the machines. Afternoon/evening receptionists were very rude. I will never stay in Springhill suites again, I am glad that I cancelled in Anaheim California when I did.

  A beautiful room with both bathtub and shower. spacious and yet with a cozy feeling. we had a sunset view but unfortunately no sun.
