We enjoyed very much staying at the Paris Eiffel and having a view of the tower from our rooms. Morning breakfast was excellent with large selection of items, and a view of the tower. I would advise that if planning to dine in the 180 Diner on the 10th floor at night, to dress up, we went causal and was kindly turned away saying they were full, although we saw lots of empty tables.

For an extra $100 a day I was told I would have a balcony and view of the Eiffel Tower. I did have the balcony and if you went to the window and looked to the right you could see the Eiffel Tower. Not my idea of a view of the Eiffel Tower. Room heat did not work, but after two days and threatening to change hotels, the heat was fixed. The lights near bed were very dim--I brought a flashlight and had to use it to read a book in bed. Hotel staff was very unknowledgeable of local area. When we asked for a laundromat--they said it would be two metro stations away. There was one we found right down the street. When I asked for a cinema near by--I was told to go the Champs Elysee--that may have been correct but felt like a brush off. Towels smelled like glue and were very thin. The bed was very comfortable. TV was so small a screen could not be seen except right next to it. Could hear noises from hallway and adjoining rooms. Pullman is under renovation and construction noises were very loud during the day and very ugly exterior construction equipment. We could not walk around the block to grocery store and bakery without going in the street because construction mess. I would like to have been warned that the construction/renovations were going on. It was free internet, but you had to put in codes every 15 minutes and codes sometimes would not work and you had to enter over and over again.

I had read other reviews recommending upgrading to the delux room for the Eiffel Tower view and I completely agree it was worth the upgrade! We literally could see the whole tower and were 5 minutes walk from the tower. Staff were very helpful and friendly and room was nice--nothing special. We had 2 twin beds but my husband and I didn't mind it for a few nights. Now in going on the tour of Paris we realized that other than being close to the tower everything else is pretty far away from the hotel. We were within walking distance to several restaurants and a laundromat but serious shopping was far away. So the next time we would stay in another hotel closer to shopping but for the first time being close to the Eiffel Tower was great!
