We enjoyed our stay very much. The motel was only a 5 minute walk to the river walk. The staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and very nice. We would stay here again .

06/01/2012This room was large and very comfortable. we were quite pleased. the location was great. the only trouble came from a driving rainstorm which leaked in through the ac unit.

The room and staff were good. The toilet was extremely loud when being flushed, and I thought I'd lost my girlfriend a time or two from the suction of the thing! You could hear flushing from other rooms nearby too. Not too bad, overall. Very close to everything you need downtown. Maybe a block from the riverwalk, and not too far from the Alamo and Ripley's, etc. We walked to all of it. The only real complaint I have is that when we returned for the evening and felt like having a beer or two,the hotel lounge had closed early! I'm talking like 10:00pm. The staff told us it was because it was too slow. Slow or not, the lounge should be open at the times they have posted, period. We were kinda disappointed with that, but otherwise enjoyed our stay. I'd probably stay again, but it might be my second choice. Not a bad hotel though.
