  First the negatives: We showed up promptly at 4 pm, which was the check-in time. But we and dozens of other guests had to wait up to 2 and 1/2 hours for our rooms to be ready. This really seemed like a breakdown in the hotel's procedures and was unacceptable. But I'm willing to believe that this was due to a one-time internal mixup and is not a regular occurrence. The positives: Once we got to our room, we were completely impressed. The room was very attractive, spacious, totally modern with up-to-date electrical fixtures and plug-ins for iPods and such, quiet, and with a very modern shower, etc., etc. Bottom line is that this is a brand new hotel with the latest furnishings, and it felt really great! I would stay there again, definitely. And it is just a few minutes away from the Casino, either by convenient hotel shuttle bus or your own car. This was the most impressive hotel/motel that I've ever been to in 30+ years of business and leisure travel.

  Very comfortable hotel, room was spacious and very clean. The desk and free wifi made working in the room convenient and comfortable. The shuttle to Mohegan Sun was valuable for nighttime visits to the casino. Working at a conference during the day I found the short drive very convenient.

  We had a wonderful experience! My husband and I stayed one night for a quick anniversary getaway. The room was spacious and the bed was sooooo comfy! Huge wide screen HDTV that could be turned to either face the bed or the couch. Breakfast area was kept clean and the complimentary breakfast served was sufficient. Close to casinos, restaurants, and shopping. We will definitely go back!!
