wonderful staff. great customer service. i can't emphasize how amazing the hotel
01/04/2013Great hotel, however location was in the ghetto. and i'd recommend renting a car to get there instead of depend on the metro bus.

If you just want a basic good clean hotel then this Days Inn is perfect. Though it's considered a "downtown" hotel, it's more on the outskirts of the main downtown area. It is located in a warehouse/contruction/trucking area. Only a few minutes from the center of downtown, but I do not suggest walking; the area doesn't look appealing, but the hotel and the grounds appears to be quite safe. The hotel itself looks brand new. Staff is nice. The rooms are clean and everything works.

The hotel was nice and the management was outstanding. The neighborhood was TERRIBLE. I was staying alone, on a road trip to meet my wife in Phoenix. For me it was OK as it seemed as if it wasn't the best area, but I never did see anything which would make me say it was bad. But there was nothing but vacant buildings in the area and no open businesses, either day or night which would make it seem in any way safe or vibrant. The hotel did not have any precautions for someone parking a car. I would stay there again if alone, but never with a loved one
