Nice hotel for a family with kids

For kids this is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are great for them because many have a separate room with bunk beds, which they love, and a Nickelodeon theme. Once you leave the room, the kid experience gets even better. They have 2 large pools with slides and other fun water activities in addition to an inside area with 4D movies and other fun kid stuff (some at an additional charge). My kids constantly ask to go back when we are staying in Orlando, which we do frequently. My only complaint is that the cost of the hotel can be expensive during busy times of the year. While the price can be on par with 4 and 5 start hotels, this property and rooms are really more of a 2 or low end 3 start property with some kid based theming and a nice pool area.

I was very satisfied with this hotel and found it was a good value for a family of five. We took advantage of the bus shuttle to the parks and found that easy, although some buses were at capacity, I don't think anyone was ever turned away. Kids enjoyed the pool, even in February and we, the parents enjoyed a separate room.

I have taken my son to Nichelodeon Hotel 2 years in a row and he loves it. He wants to go again this year. This is a great place for the kids but there is not much for the parents except to sit pool side. I would suggest daily activities to sign the kids up for to give the parents a break. I would also suggest more places on site that interest the parents other than the one bar. It would be great if it catered to both the children and the adults. I think it would attract more repeat customers. This year I think for the money that I spent on Nick Hotel, I will go to an all inclusive that has a kids club.
