Our stay was great the hotel was very clean, comfortable and the staff was very helpful. I think that our kids 5 & 2 at the time were maybe a little young for the pool areas, as small kids are not allowed on the waterslides even with a life jacket or parent. But I would recommend to a friend and I would stay again. The characters made it a very fun experience for the kids

$200.00 Resort fee and other charges for 4-D movies and slime time. Nothing in that hotel was free. The only thing I thought was not a bad price, was their Character breakfast. Good Food, lots of fun for the kids. It is a nice hotel however when you book your trip they should tell you there is going to be extra charges when you check in.

You get what you pay for here! Not the cleanest (although no reports of bed bugs as some postings on this hotel reported), but the beds were comfortable, the staff cleaned up each day, they replaced our room with plenty of towels every day, the staff was nice and it was fairly quiet. There were limited bus shuttles to Universal and most of the bus times did not coincide with park closing hours. Limited morning buses to Disney parks, but plenty of evening return buses. Room does not automatically come with character rooms for the kids (extra charge per night applies) and there is a daily resort fee added for the "free" shows, "free" in-room internet and bus shuttles to and from the Universal & Disney parks. Would be nice if they had a bus shuttle to Downtown Disney. No breakfast included, either! Given the limited time we spent at the hotel, the price was reasonable (we only used the pools one afternoon and didn't go to any programs).

The rooms were clean & comfortable. My family loved the pools. The charater breakfast was a extremely memoriable event for us. Meeting the charaters as you walk around the hotel was great. They didn't mind taking pictures & even having a little dance with the kids on our way to the pool. Everyone's inner kid came out to play, you just could help yourself. Being able to not worry about the kids while the adults could have their own time was amazing. There's so much to do that your to excited to sleep. The truely unexpected advantage of having a room with a frig with freezer, stove top, and microwave to prepare foods for my family members that were on special diets leaves me speachless and thankful. This took the headache out of trying to finding places for every single meal that could accommendate the dietary needs of my family.
