Wicked Awesome Time at the Nick Hotel

I must start off by saying that I was completely “wowed” by my weekend at the Nickelodeon Suites Resorts. It was a weekend of absolutely amazing memories my family and I will always enjoy.There was so much excitement at the resort with so many fascinating things to do. The water park itself provided hours of fun for my boys (and mommy too – yes we did the slides as well)! The boys were so excited when we first got down to the water park they didn’t know which direction to head first. We were able to experience the dinner character buffet with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. The boys were in awe that the TMNT’s were actually coming to their dinner table to take pictures and sign autographs (stamp autographs). The TMNT’s were my absolute favorite growing up as well –so we were all hysterical about them. And the day just continued to get better… we headed over to the Double Dare show where we were lucky enough to be on the actual show as contestants. Maybe I am bias because I was a huge fan of the show as a kid, but this was definitely the highlight of our trip! Our family, the Wicked Awesome team, actually won the game and beat the obstacle course (including the nose picking challenge). I must say this resort definitely provided us an opportunity to bond with our kids in such a unique and memorable way. Kudos to your property and team for this!

We've made a number of trips to the Nickelodeon hotel. All the activities for our daughters make it an excellent choice. Our kids love the facility so much that they prefer to spend the day there rather than the theme parks (which are just a few minutes away) The highlight of the hotel is all the activity around the swimming pool, from the pool itself, to the poolside games and entertainment we find ways to spend the entire day poolside. You must catch the evening entertainment at Nick Studios for the well organized activities that go on there. The check-in process is smooth and you are greeted with friendly representatives. The suites are full of convenience and the beds are comfortable. I highly recommend as a vacation destination while in the Orlando area.

11/14/2012Found little tiny bugs on th wall and ceiling of the bathroom when we first arrived. sink was clogged. tub was dirty. bedroom ceilings had dust bunnies hanging from ceiling. ...
Found little tiny bugs on th wall and ceiling of the bathroom when we first arrived. Sink was clogged. Tub was dirty. Bedroom ceilings had dust bunnies hanging from ceiling. Went to front desk. Was told deep cleaning and bug spraying would be done while we were at the parks the next day. Came back the next night, same issues. Engineer came up and wipe the walls with soapy water and said again, would spray while we were out the next day. Came back, next night, same bugs, same clogs, same dust bunnies. Amenities were nice with Mall (4D Movies, Double Dare. Breakfast with Characters was excellent. Seemed like cleaning carts making noise all night going up and down halls. Bed sunk in so my butt was in a hole. If they kept the rooms liveable, I would stay again. But since they did not resolve our issues while there, I would probably pass.
