The Nick Resort is a fun property for families, especially when the weather is warm. There is a free shuttle to Disney World, and driving to the disney theme parks takes less than five minutes. The water slides are fun for the family, and the video game arcade, character breakfast, and comedy shows are fun for the kids as well. The suite contains a bunk bed room, a separate living room with sofa bed, and a separate bedroom with a king bed for mom and dad, which is nice. This is the third time I've brought the family to the resort because we always really enjoy it. Getting slimed is also fun, and drinking poolside while the kids run around in the pool and water slides is a relaxing way to take a break from the theme parks. If you are in the mood for a quiet or romantic get away, don't go to the Nick resort. It is loud and filled with hundreds of children running around. This is a place to go that the kids will really enjoy. If you don't have kids, I reccd. going someplace else.

Overall, my family enjoyed this hotel. We love the suite concept. My kids had their own Sponge Bob room and we enjoyed privacy in our own room. The Character "meet and greet" was great. The hotel had lots of fast restaurant choices and we loved the pool and slide area. On the flip side, this is a very basic hotel. Although it was clean, the accommodations are very basic and in-expensive. There are no luxury items here.

Visited in November; lots of opportunities to visit and take photos with characters; excellent character dining - food was good; The live shows were good; loved the 3D films; hospitality counter staff was very friendly and helpful; greatly appreciated the busing to the parks; hotel arranged shuttle service to airport at an extra fee. Rooms were clean and spacious; love the suites! It was too chilly to really enjoy the water park area, but, my daughter really enjoyed the mass sliming! Think they should offer this more frequently. The 'extras' (spa, arcade, dining, shows) add up very quickly - beware. The price of the food and other stuff in the canteen was extremely outrageous. The only big compliant is the layout of the venue itself; quite a few other folks I spoke with also commented on the poor design. There's no easy way from one side of the hotel to the other - you have to walk way around the swim area - really irritating at times, especially when different activities are timed so very close together. No room service...bummer.

I must say that I really enjoyed my stay @ nick hotel. Travelosity made things very easy for me. Every thing was right at my finger tips, they even booked my car rental for me. My family and I had a great time and it was something that we will all remember forever!!!!
