This was a great vacation for our 4 year old! He loved all the stuff to do. At first, I was not happy that we were not by the bigger pool where the activities took place, then I was very happy we were near the other pool, it was much quieter! The room was perfect for what we needed- my son loved the bunk beds! Thanks for making my son so happy!

TERRIBLE, DIRTY, STAFF RUDE

THROW UP IN THE POOL, IN THE GAME ROOM, POOL NOT OPEN ALL THE TIME, "COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLES" ONLY GO EVERY COUPLE OF HOURS. ROOMS VERY OLD. NOT WORTH ALL THE MONEY I SPENT!! I COULD HAVE STAYED AT THE HARD ROCK FOR THIS MONEY!!

02/07/2011On a friday evening, my husband, two young kids, and i pulled up to the nickelodeon hotel in orlando with great anticipation. would we get slimed? would we meet spongebob? ...
On a Friday evening, my husband, two young kids, and I pulled up to the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando with great anticipation. Would we get slimed? Would we meet Spongebob? Would we have a fun AND comfortable stay? Well, the answer turned out to be yes, yes, yes! Now, don't expect the frills of a luxury hotel. That is not what this is. Nickelodeon Hotel is a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay with lots of fun amenities for kids, which translates into a good time for parents. We had a two-room suite, which means we had a master bedroom, a kid room with bunk beds (which didn't necessarily work that well since neither of my kids would sleep on the top bunk), and a cozy living room. We had plenty of space, colorfully decorated in a Spongebob theme, but we would have preferred two twin beds in the extra room. For an extra price but still affordable, we had a great time eating at the main restaurant on the premises and meeting, dancing, and taking pictures with Spongebob, Patrick, Dora, Diego, and more characters. We also went to a live Nickelodeon game show, which was lots of fun. But the highlight of the hotel for our kids was the on-site waterpark and pool. They spent hours swimming, sliding, and just generally having very wet fun while my husband and I relaxed poolside. And then, the pinnacle: we all gathered in the pool to get slimed from the towering bucket at the top of the waterslide; to my amazement, the next day, my kids even asked if we could leave Magic Kingdom early to go back to the hotel waterpark! In addition to those over-the-top kidtastic amenities, there was a movie theatre, food court, game room, and other areas to explore. My husband and I are still talking about that trip, and we're heading back there this summer. It was a great family adventure.
