My kids, ages 14, 17, and 19, and I visited Florida in February 2009 to escape the grip of Indiana's cold winter. We arrived at our destination hotel, The Seahaven, and never regretted one single thing about the hotel, the accommodations, the location, the price, etc.! So I'm finding it hard to believe that from the time we were there to the timeline of the recent bad reviews that this hotel went to pot! We had a ground-floor unit and it was absolutely FABULOUS opening the door and feeling the ocean breeze throughout our efficiency. The public deck was huuuuge and beautiful leading to the sand. While weekends brought more traffic, we really didin't have a problem with parking at the hotel. If you're expecting a five star resort, look elsewhere, but this lil hidden gem is worth its weight in gold as far as I'm concerned. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly...what more could you ask for? We'd stay there again. You bet!

  • Very Old and outdated! TERRIBLE parking

lady at front desk was very nice. I traveled with my husband and 3month old son. Parking at night is horrible. People that are eatting at Sharkys and parked there without permit tags take up the enitre lot. Parking NOT enforce. Which made us have to cross busy street traffic with bags and car seat. Elevator NASTY hot and smelled old gym socks. Nice view though. Our door did not shut and lock correctly we had to slam it several times to get it to shut. Cracks in walls nasty floors and walls. Toliet was clogged and over flowed into floor in bathroom. AC broke while we were there during the day making the room too hot to occupy. overall I would never stay again. This place could be nice if updated and cleaned!!!!
