We stayed at this hotel for a night because this hotel offered free shuttle service for our cruise the next day. The hotel was old and run down but you couldn't beat the price. The neighborhood was unsafe to walk around but they had a pretty descent restaurant attached with good Greek food. The website we booked this hotel on said there was a free breakfast but management said they no longer give the free breakfast and gave us certificates for just juice or coffee instead. Overall, you got what you paid for.

  • This hotel made me feel good.

When I first arrived there was a police task force looking for some fugitives at the hotel. The rest was just as I figured, paint peeling, sticky carpet and it stank. The good, cheap, service to the airport at 6am, clean towels, clean bathroom, restaurant next door (also cheap and stanky). Bottom line? 1 nighter or low standards/budget, no problem.

  • This was the nastiest, rattiest, smellest, dirtiest hotel I've EVER stayed in. I

This hotel is listed as a "Miami airport hotel." It is nowhere near the airport. In fact, our driver was shocked to learn that this is somehow listed as an airport hotel. When we got there, there was no sheets on the beds and no towels in the bathroom and there wasn't even any clean linens to give us so we could do the work ourselves. The air conditioners barely worked, they certainly could not keep up with the temperature in any of the three rooms we had rented. The carpets looked as if they haven't EVER been cleaned and are rarely vacuumed. The exterior of the hotel was just as dirty as inside the rooms and in a less-than-desirable location. Unfortunately we had prepaid the hotel before and after our cruise, so we were stuck basically at the hotel on our return trip even though at that point, we knew how horrible it is. We thought that a Rodeway Inn would have at least some minimum standards for cleanliness, etc., but sure miserably surprised that this is not the case. The hotel sits basically on a busy freeway so it was extremely loud. The only thing that was not miserable was the pool ~ it seemed fairly well kept and the water appeared clean ~ we did use the pool. The restaurant food was okay, but the restaurant, like the rest of the hotel was dirty. The hotel staff were cranky and unresponsive to our requests, but the wait staff was overall friendly. The free shuttle to the cruise ship was one of the reasons we stayed at the hotel, but they did not have nearly enough space in their shuttle for the amount of business they had.

  • probably stay again

From check-in to check-out, I found no problem with my stay. There was a free shuttle service available every hour to the MIA airport and to the Port of Miami. Whenever I need a taxi, just informed the counter, and they took care of it. Woman doing housekeeping were very polite and so others at the front desk. Unfortunately there was only one restaurant at the premise. When the customers were waiting, the small woman at the counter didn't care us but want to impress someone by screaming, "take care of that dog-tur, that doc-thur sitting in the middle."
