Pricey but well worth it. The Ballpark view did not disappoint; the room is beautifully furnished and clean. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful at all times. Very central location--on the free circulator route, walking distance to the inner harbor and next to the light rail track. Even though I walk with a cane, we never had to call a taxi. I did wish the internet access was free instead of a daily charge. O from Rhode Island, September, 2011

My stay or non-stay I should say was a very stressful experience. My flight was cancelled so I informed the hotel that I would be arriving after 11pm and confirmed I had a room. When I arrived tired and beat at 11:30pm, I was informed that all of the rooms were "sold out". What? I have had reservations since March and also confirmed the same day. They paid for a taxi across town to another hotel for the night, and told me to come back in the morning and I would be guaranteed a room the next day. I arrived the next morning, went to the front desk, they were suppose to pay the taxi while it waited out front, but continued to ignore me. I ended up paying the taxi, and got reimbursed through free breakfast coupons. If you are late due to a delayed flight, be prepared to not have a room when you get there! They informed me if existing guests wanted to extend their stay, "we couldn't kick them out". Obviously, priority given to existing guests and reservations don't mean squat. Other than this fiasco, the room was clean, location was great. Vending machines were "sold out" of every beverage, in hotel store was a bit expensive, and the "business center" was a UPS station and you had to pay 6.95 to use the internet.

We only stayed one night. But I would recommend this hotel to my friends. The rooms are clean with a friendly athmosphare. We enjoyed the pool. The location is excellent. A short walk to the Aquarium and the baseball stadium. With the Baltimore Harbor close by, there are plenty of dining opportunities.
