We decided at the last minute to have a quick getaway for a couple of days. I was able to book our room literally as we were walking out of the house. When we arrived 2 hours later, I was very impressed that our room was ready! The staff was professional and courteous. The free breakfast was more than I expected. So yes, I would definitely recommend this hotel and when we return, we will be staying here :-)

We submitted a bid on a 5 star hotel in Nashville and the Marriott Downtown was the hotel that accepted the bid. I have never stayed at this hotel before but I will definately be back. The beds were like a cloud!! I actually went and bought a topper for my bed to try and recreate the feel of their bed. The only 2 downsides was the price of parking ($22) and their was no alternative to parking in their garage as anything within walking distance was a towing zone and the other was the distance from 2nd avenue and the best restaurants. We actually walked the 2.5 miles to Hard Rock because it was such a beautiful evening but had it been bad weather we would have been forced to either pay for a cab or pay for parking again. All in all a good experience and if you are visiting Vanderbilt or going to a game there this was the perfect location as it is right beside the stadium.

  • Good value, short stay hotel

Not in the downtown area, but nearby. need a car or call a cab (only $3.00) large, clean rooms.
