I stayed at the Element for a couple of days on a business trip and I had a very good experience. The staff were all pleasant, helpful and efficient. Everything in the hotel has a green, eco-friendly theme starting from the abundant natural lighting in the lobby and in all the rooms. The room also comes with a small fridge, microwave and dinnerware. The hotel even offers daily bike rentals. Finally, the daily breakfast is awesome. Way better than the standard continental breakfast I have seen at major hotel chains. Overall highly recommended.

  • Not bad for suburban Bahstan

My wife and I recently stayed at the Element in Lexington,MA--a new LEEDS Gold concept in lodging. The design of the hotel is modern and airy with tons of natural light pouring into the lobby/breakfast area and south-facing rooms. The rooms are spacious and are more like studio apartments equipped with mini-fridges, microwaves, a sink and dishes. The closets and bathrooms are spacious. The hotel rooms feature wood floors with an area rug beneath and near to the bed. There is a good working desk, flat screen TV and comfortable chair. The only negative aspect of the hotel is that, though the dark wood floors are attractive, they tend to amplify noise to rooms below. I could hear people walking and wheeling their luggage or ottomans in the room above me. There is also excessive noise in the hallways when people walk by. By far the best feature of the hotel is its wonderful morning breakfast with various cereals, yogurts, and delicious breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. They also have a great indoor pool, exercise room and laundry facilities. And, it is very well priced and located just off I-95. I would stay in the Element again and look forward to more of them opening around the country in the next few years.
