Spent 4 nights here, staff was excellent- very helpful guiding me around the area, suggesting restaurants; nothing out of the ordinary, but just a nice, comfortable hotel; only complaint, room was on ground floor and it was sometimes noisy- outside traffic, garbage truck banging around, and when they were preparing breakfast, whoever was getting ice out of the machine was not quiet about it; if I come back, will ask for a room on an upper floor

The Verve will likely be my home base for my future trips to the Big Apple! The hotel is conveniently located within a few blocks of several subway lines, but the rooms are very quiet. You really can't beat the friendly hotel staff (the people at the front desk wished us a good day each morning and a "welcome back" each evening) or the complimentary breakfast each morning. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries each day. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to travel to NYC - you won't have to sacrifice convenience, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. The Verve definitely provides you with a lot of bang for your buck!

The Verve Hotel was a big surprise. The room was excellent, clean, roomy, perfect temperature, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom... The staff was amazing, can't say enough about the experience. Close to the subway, too. The perfect place to stay.
