I have stayed at the Palazzo 2-3x a year since it has opened. I am not really sure where these other people stayed at . This is a 4 star establishment. From the moment you set foot inside you are treated like royalty. I happened to stay over a birthday weekend and a large gift basket was waiting on my arrival, what a nice suprise.. The high cellings and air flow system make the air refreshingly clean. Most of the food venues are expensive but for the most part they are very high quality. The rooms have always been impeccably clean and have had only one issue when my room was not cleaned promptly. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are high quality. The entertainment venues are wonderful from the classic Phantom to the quirky Blue Man group. Every staff member has been pleasant and the waitresses in the casino ask frequently if you need something. The casino is situated within walking distance to all of the other mid strip casinos. I agree that the strip view is not worth it. I always prefer a room overlooking the Wynn golf course. The pool does get quite jammed and the drinks there are very expensive but live a little. Some of these posts just have so many things that are so hard to believe that I wonder? Have always had the casino give me more then I gave them but then I go elsewhere and they take it all back, after all they are games not investments. Just remember to chill out. Certainly if something isn't up to your standards you have the right to complain. I would also take pictures to share with all who are in the lobby etc maybe then you would have managements attention

We stayed there August 2010, this was our 3 time staying here. We had our son with us this time so we stayed in a bella suite, which is the same as most of the other suites except it has 2 queen beds. I was disappointed in the condition of the room, mostly do to the fact that they were charging a premium price ($*a night) so I expected perfect conditions. The room was dusty, dust on the back of the headboard, shelf on the dresser and desk area. One of the drawers in the dresser was broken, the drawer pulled all the way out when you opened it, the dresser it self was in bad condition too, worn areas where the wood stain was gone. The housekeeping service was poor at best, we left our room at 9:30am hoping it would be clean by noon or 1 at the latest, but by 4:30 it was still not clean and we had dinner reservations at 6 and need showers and cleaned up. I always left a tip of $* for housekeeping but everyday it was the same thing room not cleaned till after 4.Well if you think this is nitpicking perhaps but they were charging $*a night. On the plus side the beds were comfortable and the casino wasn't smokey, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We upgraded to a strip view room, not really worth the price of an extra $*a night.Plus there is a resort fee and you don't get anything for it, It's $* a night too. I'm not sure if I'll stay there again or not, slots were extremely tight. All in all C- grade

I've stayed at the Palazzo since it's opening and previous stays were at the Venetian. Along with the Wynn and Encore, I call this portion of LV Blvd " The Fabulous Four Corners." I've stayed at all 4 resorts with huge admiration to each one of them. I game at all 4 resorts but as far as receiving comp rooms, no 5 star resort beats the Palazzo. My last stay was in Dec of 2009. I worked out everyday at the spacious fitness center, saw the Jersey Boys for the 3rd time, and also attended the Las Vegas Bowl which the Venetian was host to my Oregon State Beavers. Service, food, gaming, you name it, it's definitely my home away from home. Will be back in October 2010.

I recently booked at The Palazzo and it confirmed why it is my only lodging choice in Las Vegas. Pros: Customer service is world class. Despite the resort being fully booked with a blue-chip IBM convention, I fell to my knees when I entered my suite and discovered I had been upgraded to a 1,400 square foot Siena Suite! Words do not do justice,Shock and Awe to enter the suite and see a private gym, a guest bath and flawless views of the strip from the 46nd floor. Electric drapes in both the living room and master bedroom - you can spend HOURS enjoying this feature. Great lighting - even though a Green property the lighting was awesome. This is not the case with Trump or The Hotel which I have stayed before. Color Printer - No other resorts offer complimentary state of the art printer/fax machines. This was especially handy in printing critical work and travel documents. Slot-machines - Both abundant and GENEROUS! A reverse ATM. Casino service - I never waited more than two minutes for a drink, Housekeeping - AWESOME! How they arrange your personal items is masterful. And a request (with generous tip) resulted in an abundance of designer soaps. Complimentary gift basket - This was a total surprise.

Don't expect much when it comes to customer service from the front desk staff and manager Scott. They love to bill but when it comes time provide any type of requested service you'll be infor a surprise. When we arrived, they said they did not have a room for us that we had made a reservation for, and this was at 9 pm! We then had to take another room, at the same price, and move to another room the next morning when it became available. Then when we misplaced one of the restaurant vouchers that were given out they would not print us another one or even provide us with a discount at one of their own restaurants, even though it was only for 20 bucks. This place is just way too overpriced for what you get. The pool area is nothing like some of the other 5 star hotels on the strip. more like a holiday inn pool. and the nice section is actually closed all weekdays, though they don't tell you that beforehand.
