- 100% Non Smoking Hotel. There is a 250 Fee for smoking in the sleeping rooms.
Weekend traveler? If you book a stay over the weekend and plan to go to 207 the lobby bar or Float the pool bar, please contact the hotels Concierge to reserve priority admittance into either one of the bars (Registered guests only). You must get your name on the list by 8:00pm day of and then admittance with front of the line access will be held until 10:00 pm the night of reservation. If you choose not to put your name on the list or arrive after 10:00 pm, hotel cannot guarantee admittance.
If you are partying with friends then Hard Rock Hotel San Diego offers many on property choices at which to enjoy alcoholic beverages and to entertain guests including 2 nightclubs, room service, and 2 restaurants. However by law they cannot allow guests to bring their own alcohol into the hotel. Minimum check in age is 21.
As a reminder, guest rooms have a maximum occupancy of 4 people per room. Only registered guests may enjoy our guest rooms after hours and we reserve the right to remove individuals form the property if they are disturbing other guests.
A daily resort fee of 18.60 will be collected at the hotel directly.

Great place to stay as long as you're there to party. (We had two rooms near ours which were hosting some large parties - not bad until they spill out into the hallway 2am - 4am). Security broke it up the second night. Great location at the entrance to the Gaslamp District. Great food, shopping, nightlife, etc. Walking distance to everything.

This hotel is not for mature travelers. It caters to college age guests, with alcohol without moderation. Professionalism is not a priority within customer relations. My experience was extremely difficult finding an employee able to have any actual knowledge and training to professionally complete their duties. The manager had the only access to make a decision, after a 20 - 30 minute wait, in the lobby. The group outside - is wonderful.

I had booked the hardrock king suite for a few days for my birthday and I couldn't have been more happy with the way the hotel looked and how they treated me, it was well worth the money and I will be back again! I recomend this hotel for anyone who just simply wants to have a great time! The veiws were amazing and the food/restauraunts were even better! Thanx Hard Rock Hotel
