I would recommend The Park Plaza County Hall to everyone! From arrival to departure our every need was met and with a smile on their faces. It was the first time my sister had traveled outside of the US and was very impressed with the room as she had heard rooms tend to be small. This was not the case at all. A modern room with a comfortable bed is a bonus after exploring all day. Minutes away from The Eye, BIg Ben and Westminster. We even walked to Buckingham Palace. Also, for you Starbucks lovers there is one about a 2 minute walk away.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The location is wonderful, away from the crowds, but near the Westminster Bridge. It is on the edge of the "business district". The deluxe room is very nice. It has a small bedroom, hall, and sitting room. The bathroom is very modern with sliding frosted glass doors. All the rooms offer a small kitchenette with coffee making supplies. The restaurant and bar were pricey, but good. I would not recommend the standard room. Compared to the average hotel prices in London, this is excellent.

This was the best hotel we stayed at on our 3 week tour of the British Isles!! The hotel is just across the bridge from Big Ben, Parliment, & Westminister Abbey. Only about 400 yards to Waterloo station and the London Eye too. The hotel is truely a 4 star experiance, and maybe even 4.5 at that. Wonderfull staff and a very modern design. You will not be unhappy if you choose to stay at this property....

We returned to this Hotel after staying there in July 2008. We decided to return as our experience last year was awesome; the guest relation's manager even thanked us for the review. Well, things change in a year. First, the hotel had the wrong rates. Not a big deal as the guest relation's manager had given us a special deal when I told him we wanted to come back. I showed the young lady the email with the special pricing. She was incredulous to the say the least. She left and went to get a supervisor. Out he came and asked who had given us these rates. I said: ""?, something."" He said: ""Oh that would be me."" I replied, ""Well, you gave them to me."" He could not remember at all; a slight disappointment. He was more interested in telling me how really I was lucky that he was working on his day off, if not God only knows if the email confirmation would have been honored. He then--rather than offer an upgrade or a voucher for breakfast--told me the room was not available and to kill time; after a transatlantic flight. We proceeded to the restaurant to eat. The staff at the restaurant is all new and the hostess was merely interested in telling you--three times--that you need to pay. The rest of the stay was uneventful other than they gave us one tiny bar of soap for three people, unlike last year when they gave plenty of toiletries. It felt as if the staff was overburdened and skimping on service; i.e not once was a cab hailed for us. Bright spots: the concierge and one of the doormen, the later remembered us from last year and the former was great. That being said: try it out.
