The Prytania Park Hotel is indeed small, so don't expect grand rooms or humongous beds and bathrooms. However, our room was perfectly comfortable. My only complaint would be that the in-room coffee pot was too slow - and with continental breakfast each morning and numerous coffeehouses nearby, that's a very minor complaint! The staff at the Prytania Park was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. My husband lost his wallet in a nearby store and that owner tracked us to our hotel and returned our wallet there. Christina, from the hotel staff, then called us to let us know it was there, and to see if it was okay with us to open our room and put it inside. What could have been a real trip downer was averted by these fantastically thoughtful gestures. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and will be using it for all of my future trips to the Big Easy!

I would definitely stay here again. Room was plenty adequate. Parking is free which is hard to find at a New Orleans hotel. Bed was really comfortable. Breakfast buffet was adequate, nothing fancy.

Prytania was ideally located for a daily walk or bus connection downtown to and back from the conference I attended. Room and morning coffee pastry worked well. Have no complaints except am not used to sleeping on a bed with such a hard mattress.
