This La Quinta has a good location, as far as distance to and from the beach, but if you have younger children with sensitive skin, its not a good choice. My daughter had flea bites on her back and legs, as well as my husband. We have stayed at another La Quinta location in PCB, and we did not have the same problem. The service there depends on who is working at that time of day. During our stay, we only dealt with one friendly desk clerk. As far as any other friendly service, the only other ones we came across were the housekeepers.

Family Reunion in Panama City

My husband and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn & Suites on Thomas Drive with several other family members. Others stayed at St. Andrews State Park camping about 5 miles away from the hotel. The beds in the hotel were very comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and refreshing after 94 degree temperature at the campsite. We drove 10 hours to get to the hotel and will try to encourage other family members to stay there next year. We will definitely be at this hotel next year! Our entire family has dogs and brought them to the park. I was so pleased to see the hotel was dog friendly. I had a pet sitter, but that may change next year. Awesome hotel and staff. Ted and Linda
