Don't be fooled--map it! This hotel is not at, by or near Dorney Park. I wasn't going to the park but wanted to be close to the Interstate and Muhlenberg College. This wasn't close to either. Plus, the room smelled bad and, being right beside a heavily trafficked road, very loud, especially at night. There is a "quiet side" to the hotel that faces a neighborhood. If you stay here, request the quiet side. I will say this: the staff was nice and the breakfast was very good. However, I have stayed in a lot nicer hotels for less money (I'm looking at you, Hampton Inn).

we arrived after midnight and found the parking lot full. had to park on the side of the drive area in front. Room was very nice, basic but good. booked family of 5, but room had no sofa/couch/bed. had to share queen with two 7year olds. didnt ask for cot at midnight. Nice continental breakfast with hot food and cold, well provisioned. modest sized pool was very enjoyable. Staff was very nice.

I was so pleasantly surprised by the updated rooms. Granite and dark woods in the bathroom, lovely room amenities (microwave, frig, free internet), HD flatscreen TV, and great breakfast. And I used the fitness room both times I was there this week (stayed in the hotel twice - on my way and then home from Cape Cod) and needed to exercise the kinks out. Used the eliptical, the treadmill and the Body Fusion -type (all in one) Multi-station weights machine.

This Best Western Plus exceeded my expectations! The room was big, had a great TV, was clean & comfortable. We did not use the pool, but after looking at it we wished we had. The complementary breakfast was great, make yourself waffles, eggs, sausage, creals, danish, toast & bagels, plus milk and juices. THe breakfast area was kept clean. We will be staying there again when we visit Allentown.
