We picked this Hotel for kids to enjoy the pool and we were let down. The water was freezing. Made me wonder if the HOT SPRINGS Pool was giving kick-backs (bribes) to the area Hotels to ensure their in-house pools were not accommodating to guests so they'd spend more days/nights at the at the HOT SPRINGS Pool. I'm probably reading too much into it - but the Hotel pool should invest in a heating system since their pool is such a featured attraction. Everything else was a +4 experience and we'll probably stay there again in the future for the rate and the breakfast buffet and cleanliness - just avoid the pool :)

Yes the pool is nice, but you're in Glenwood for the hot springs. The hotel boasts sound insulation and no noise - that couldn't be further from the truth! I had to stuff tissue in my ears and put pillows over my head because I could hear every word a child was saying in the room next door. When I complained, the only comment I got was that that room would be vacant on my second night's stay. For the money, there are hotels that are closer to downtown and much quieter.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms are very quiet and have a mini-frig. I would stay here again and recommend it to families, especially, because of the on-site indoor pool play area. Kids will love it.
