We've stayed at this hotel numerous times! I'm a Gold member! The suite we booked and the one we got were not the same. Very run down! Paint chipping, wall paper coming off, pen markings on the couch, no AC, could never get the Internet to work, constantly waiting for food to be put out at the buffet every morning, could not get coffee when needed, the Executive Lounge is way too small now and cannot accommodate the guest that get to use it, only serve alcohol for 2 hours in the Executive Lounge, and not enough help in the hotel. Our guest service person assigned to us did the best she could, she moved us to an upgraded suite however still the same, very run down. Carlo, in Concierge Service, who remembers us from all our stays knew of all the problems we had and asked if there was anything he could do. Not once, did the manager of the hotel ever reach out to us! We were told that some "Congress" was there and they had given them the suite I had booked almost a year before we arrived. I was put into an old family suite on the backside of the hotel. We wrote a letter to the Hilton Worldwide CEO. The letter was aligned for on 4/17/13 and as of today, he has chosen not to respond. I have always loved the Molino Stucky. So much so, that I encouraged my sister and her husband to go with us on our last visit in March of this year and they experienced the same problems. They were celebrating their 30th anniversary. I was so embarrassed that I had talked them into going and then all this happens. I am a Hilton Honors member, almost a Diamond status now but, I believe that when I return to Venice, I will have to stay someplace else. Thanks for reading this! Linda of Dallas, TX

A little pricey, and since it is across the canal it is slightly isolated, which means unless you want to cross the pond to have a reasonably priced meal or cocktails you will be spending some money! The service from the staff was excellent however, the hotel is very clean and has a beautiful rooftop pool and bar. They do provide a shuttle that is free of charge to multiple stops in Venice, they help with airport transport if necessary.
expensive but worth it04/24/2012
The luxury is worth it. the rooms are a bit small but the views are beautiful. the breakfast buffet is very good, many selections.

Large, well appointed, quiet, well staffed, expensive services, ferry needed to 'mainland' Venice and to get to hotel from the airport. Be sure to be a Hilton Honors member before going. Lot's of benefits. They screwed up my wake up call on get away day causing agita and problems...otherwise a fine experience.

The arrival to hotel via Alilaguna is easy to access from Airport to the port of the Hotel, The complimentary shuttle service to St. Marc sq is the best to reached to city and available most of the hours! Be careful about your booking with Hilton, twin room means two single bed!? Ask for the pillow, othervise get ready unsleepless night. Concierge is very helpful and best on their services.
