My husband and I were very impressed with the hotel; it was comfortable, clean, and made us want to stay longer. From the restaurants and clubs to shops, to housekeeping to the front desk services, the employees seemed happy to be there and made us feel like our happiness was of the utmost importance. We take a vacation to Vegas annually and we typically do a different hotel each year. I am set on staying at Mandalay Bay again. Very impressed!

Once we found our way to THEhotel, it was a very lovely, clean space. Fresh flowers everywhere, very modern decor. It took a minute to fiure out where things were located and how to find the front desk. I think naming it "THEHotel" is a little confusing. Some people just think you are staying at Mandalay Bay when you say "THEHotel at Mandalay Bay." When we arrived for check-in, our room was not ready. It took the front desk quite a while to sort things out, so we went to eat and when we came back the room was still not ready, so they gave us a different room. The elevators were quick, there was no wait, which is nice for larger hotels. The halls were clean and well maintained. We got to the room and it appeared that housekeeping left abruptly and the only thing not finished was making the bed. We were able to call someone to finish the job, and once that was done it was a lovely room. Due to the room not being ready, the unapologetic nature of the front desk and housekeeping, and the unmade bed, my first impression was not great. All of the bellmen were friendly and helpful as well as the concierge. The rest of the week was fine. I will note that although it is a "smoke-free" hotel, I do not believe any hotel connected to a casino is truly smoke-free. The toiletries were nice, the bath tub was big, and very nice. The room was comfortable. I would say the room itself was a good value, but some of the staff was lacking. They should be better prepared to handle check-ins, check-outs, housekeeping, etc. It wasn't even that busy! Another note is that this hotel is located at the very end of the strip and is a long walk from anything. I would visit Las Vegas again, but I would stay somewhere else, probably toward the middle of the strip. Overall, I would say I enjoyed my stay, but would not stay here again. I would rate this hotel average as it did not meet my expectations or the high level or service received at other hotels in the same category (Sheraton, Omni, SAX Chicago, etc.)

I stayed here as part of a wedding group and loved the hotel and it's accessibility; overall great stay. My only qualm was that you had to buy disposable coffee packs in order to brew a cup of coffee at $4.00 a cup. At that price, you might as well go downstairs for a venti Starbucks.
