We loved this hotel. The rooms were modern and nicely decorated with comfortable beds and we even had a vew of the space needle. The staff was amazingly friendly from the front desk to the bartender, helping us in numerous ways. The locations was great for us. I was there with my husband and teenage son and we walked everywhere -- from the tourist areas to the shopping areas. And the fireplace in the lobby was a nice touch after an afternoon of walking in the cool Seattle air.

We were about a $10 taxi to Pikes Peak Market and maybe a 15 minute walk to the Space Needle. There are closer hotels in this area to the Market but not great surroundings. The room was the best room out of our Seattle-Victoria-Vancouver-Whistler road trip. The sea food restaurant was the best restaurant we ate at and we ate at a lot of high end restaurants.

We've traveled to Seattle three times in the past 18 months to visit family and The Pan Pacific Seattle was by far the best hotel we have stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were part of the "hotel family". The hotel personnel from the greeters, valets, front desk were all top-notch...efficient and friendly. We stayed 8 nights and there was not a single time during our stay that we were not greeted (either coming or going) and asked about our stay, if they could help with anything. They gave great restaurant recommendations, etc. The room was well appointed...a small room that felt spacious due to the great layout, luxurious linens and one of the most comfortable hotel beds, big screen TV, free internet access (no problems with connections as in other hotels), a bathroom I would love to have at my own house (rainfall shower, big tub). The hotel is also convenient to walking to most all of the Seattle sights (Seattle Center/Space Needle, Pike's Market, etc) and their is a main metro (bus) terminal just a few blocks walk. It is also located next to a Whole Foods, so it was great to be able to stop in there for a quick snack, supplies for the day, etc. They are also "dog friendly"....while we did not have a dog stay with us, when our daughter came to pick us up, she had her dog with her and they always had a special doggie treat ready for her. This is definitely the place where we will be staying for our future visits.

We had an excellent stay at Pan Pacific. Everyone was very friendly and greeted us coming and going each day. The hotel was a haven in the heart of Seattle, with a boutique feel, surrounded by wonderful courtyard shops. A big plus was the Whole Foods on the ground floor, which was a pleasant surprise with its fresh Washington produce and excellent coffee. The hotel's coveneint location allowed easy access to Denny Park, Lake Union, the streetcar, and downtown. This was homebase for all of our day trips around the Pacific Northwest and we were glad to come back to the comfort of the hotel each day. We can't wait to go back and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff were friendly and the location was great. Nearly all of the popular activities in downtown Seattle are within walking distance (15 mins by foot). Also the facilities were modern, clean, and spacious. Definitely we will be returning.
