I recently stayed at the Intercontinental and it was fantastic! The water taxi from the airport made it so easy to get to and from the hotel. The location close to the South Station T Stop made traveling around the city very easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all kinds of travelers. The shower head in the bathroom was amazing!

The hotel was lovely, clean and within walking distance to the North End, Quincy Market and the Aquarium. We had a corner room on the 12th floor which was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant, Miel, was wonderful although a bit pricey. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others. South Station was close by so transportation was a breeze.

My wife and I spent St. Patrick's Day weekend in Boston visiting with friends from Dublin, Ireland. The Intercontinental was a superb choice of hotel for this purpose. The hotel is relatively new. The location is perfect --- 2 blocks from the South Station for the red line. We also found ourselves walking to many of the attractions, including North End. The location permitted a short, easy and reasonable cab ride from Logan Airport.
We spent the extra money for a Concierge Level upgrade with access to the Lounge. Worth every penny. Full hot breakfast, menu lunch and snacks all day long. The host/esses were fantastic ready to share information or find it if they didn't know anything off hand.
We would stay here again and refer our family, friends and business colleagues to the hotel.
We also found the cost less expensive then the other 4/5 star hotels listed.
The only complaint is the bed was too soft, so we woke with slightly sore backs. Otherwise, a wonderful stay. -

03/10/2008Excellent location. easy walk to fanuiel hall, shopping, pubs. short cab rides to many other fantastic landmarks. beautiful hotel. very busy upscale bar in lobby.

This hotel was absolutely dreamy. Because of flight delays, we checked in shortly after midnight. The staff was incredibly nice and efficient. The service was impeccable, and even the bell-hops inquired about our stay. The deep tub in the bathroom was heavenly!!!
