The rooms were Westin worthy--comfortable beds etc. The location is only good if you're in town for a convention since the hotel is attached to the convention center. If you're in town to sight see and shop Boston then it's not so good since you're in the middle of an industrial district and need to take a shuttle, cab, or public transportation everywhere. Annoyed that in room wifi was not included in the price and that the in room mini fridge was turned off. The $33 to park didn't bother me too much as that seems standard for Boston.

  • Very professional staff, nice, clean.

Great hotel for what we spent. Definitely a convention crowd. We were not there for that, but it made our stay more interesting. The location was a little off the beaten track, however easy to deal with. It is still a city location and close enough to action and airport. We had friends staying in the suburbs the same weekend and paying more. Don't need car, but we had one. Self parking option was available for less than valet. Had in and out privileges without charge. Rooms are very nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff was excellent.

The Westin Boston Waterfront is a beautiful hotel, but it’s a little lonely. Even though it’s in the Seaport District, there isn’t much life around it, but that’s okay because it’s a short walk to the train station, which can take you anywhere. The Old Town trolley also picks up in front of the hotel, which goes all over Boston. It’s worth the money and is a serious time saver. There is a restaurant/bar built into the hotel and a small bar facing the exterior as well as a Starbucks. The good thing about all these restaurants is that they make the hotel pretty convenient. The hotel store doesn’t have much in it, but there is a CVS near South Station on Summer Street. The hotel is very clean as well as the gym. There were several Life Fitness elliptical machines, which is a plus imho and there is a small pool next to the gym. Walking or running down Summer Street in the morning is a serene experience and makes for an interesting way to see Boston, but it’s a long walk/short jog, so just be aware before you venture across the bridge. Also, if you have kids, it’s not very far from the Children’s Museum. I would recommend the Westin Boston Waterfront because even though it’s a little far from things, the train is pretty close taking you where ever you need or want to go.

Really excellent staff. I got in late and most of the kitchens were closed. A very nice bar waitress could tell from my order that i was looking for real food and made me a great ahi tuna salad off the menu. Lifesaver!

Hotel is above average; room is not just clean, but well-appointed. Staff courteous and helpful. There is a restaurant (pub style) in the hotel building, but other restaurants are not terribly convenient to reach by the seaport. Walking to restaurants in bad weather is problematic, but it's a very short taxi ride. Very convenient to Black Falcon cruise ship docks and Logan Airport. As usual with higher end hotels, no free internet or breakfast.
