I've stayed at three other Residence Inn's (two in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota), and I thought that the one in Worcester would be similar. What I am used to, is a large room, one that is usually in separate buildings. By that, I mean that in the past, the rooms were usually located four to a building. They were basically mini-cottages for lack of a better word. But in Worcester, the rooms are simply hotel rooms. Granted, they do have the kitchen, and a small living area, but they do not compare to what I was used to and was expecting. I did look at the pictures before booking, and was confused about the layout, but decided to book the room anyway. There was nothing wrong with the room per se, but it simply wasn't like my other experiences with Residence Inns. I had ignorantly assumed that the mini-cottage layout was the norm. Just be aware of this.
Great location, Great room layout, full kitchen, descent value!05/15/2008

Beside UofMa Medical Center & 3 blocks up from Quinsigamond Lake, just off Rte 290 & RTE 9 - perfect Worcester location. Bringing food for weekend regatta and needed a full size refrigerator & stove cooktop which the studio suite had (also, had pullout couch we could have used if needed). Set-up would be excellent for family staying in the area for a few days for a family function or for a long term hospital stay of a family member. Price could have been lower given the general pricing in the area but did only stay one night. Possibly better pricing available for longer stay?
