Smaller hotel in a great location. Walk to the Duck Tour bus and Copley Plaza. Concierge was very helpful. The bar was nice and the food good but very noisy at night. We would stay again.

Back Bay's people made all the difference. I traveled to Boston because my mom was ill. The staff -- all of them, from concierge, to head waiter, to bell boys, to maids -- were amazing. I was treated like royalty -- and so many thoughtful touches!!! When I asked the concierge where I could buy a basket of fresh raspberries for my mom, she had the kitchen put a basket in a bag for me and hand delivered as I ate breakfast in the restaurant. And I loved the restaurant. The food was stellar and the service was sublime. I didn't eat anywhere else because I felt the need for the familiar and friendly. The head waiter gave me extra care -- I was so sad during this time -- and provides a lot of extra touches. During my stay, my mom passed on. I stayed for several days afterward and was so grateful for the kindness and warmth of Back Bay Hotel. I can not recommend it highly enough. I've never come across such an extraordinary group of genuinely kind and competent people in my travels.

This hotel was in a great location. We were able to walk to everything we wanted. We arrived in the middle of the night with a car full of luggage and bags and the Bellmen were great. They jumped right in and helped load it all!! Believe me this was no small job. Everyone was helpful. The room was great. Can't wait to go back!!
