Like crickets in the ice machine? The living area? Light fixtures? Your luggage? Bathroom? How about Austin Police Dept. parking outside to clear away the day laborers? Looking for s "suite"? They have NO SUITES! No microwave. No refrigerator. Here's a clue: There were 8 cars in the parking lot at 5:00AM.. for 126 rooms. Apparently, everyone else already knows not to stay there. Would not stay there again if it were free.

We stayed there for one night and the staff was friendly. We weren't expecting much because we paid a very cheap price. Around 50 for the night standard room double beds. We were expecting a dump upon arrival but were surprised when we found the room quite nice. It was no 5 star hotel but very comfy. Clean rooms (except the shower was dirty) and I was glad we stayed there that night. Good for the money.

This hotel was much better than the last place we staid in for a great value. It is right by Denny's and the highway, so there is a little bit of noise from late night drunk folks and traffic, but we were very comfortable in our clean king sized bed room. The carpet was clean, the staff was busy but nice and the breakfast was all right - normal continental type breakfast - we are staying again at this hotel this weekend.

For the price we paid, this was worth it. Hotel was clean and easily to find. With the 24 hour restaurant in the same parking lot, it was convenient, but noisy on Saturday night when the local clubs closed. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was an all-night security watchman all night and that made me feel safe.

Very convenient location, minutes from downtown and many restaurants. The front desk was fast and friendly. The room was fine, nothing special but more than met my needs. This is a bare bones hotel that is great if you just want a place to sleep so that you can go out and enjoy Austin.
