- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

I was pleasantly surprised with the classiness of this hotel. We stayed in one of the King Deluxe rooms and it was huge. It was so roomy, not crampy as many of the other hotel rooms we have stayed in. We definitely got a great deal on this luxurious room. It had a king size bed, a couch, a flat screen t.v., and a 2-part bathroom. The bathroom is what blew me away. As you walk in, the sink is on one side and the toilet and tub is in a connecting room with a door. This hotel, by far, beat out all of the other hotel/casinos that we have stayed at for the same price range. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The one thing I did not like was the smokiness. Of course, I am a non-smoker, so it did bother me a little. Especially in the Bingo room, the smokers were very considerate by blowing their smoke towards the ceiling, but the A.C. vents would blow the smoke right back down and spread it to the non-smoking sections. Overall, despite the smokiness, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely return in the future.

I stayed at a couple hotels while in vegas on our last trip, one was on the main strip and it didn't even come close to the amenities at South Pointe. Will stay here on our next visit to Las Vegas.

Stayed at South Point over the weekend. Distance is no problem as I had my own car. Buffet food was good as I had the seaffod buffet on Friday night. Room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend South Point

09/28/2011Our stay was very good, easy check in, parking, and room access. the room was very well kept and comfortable. only downside was not having free wifi.
