Important Hotel Information
- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

The staff really was amazing and very amusing and beyond helpful. From the tequila bar to the roulette dealers we really enjoyed the fact the every staff member we delt with had a sense if humor. The grave yard specials at the Coranado Grill was our favorite! The only thing we didn't like was the distance to the strip.

I had never heard of South Point before I stayed there. I went to watch the PBA finals telecast. We were very impressed with the room size as well as the bathroom set up. We enjoyed the buffet and the tried a couple of the cheaper restaurants and found the food to be excellent and inexpensive wherever we ate. We were conveniently located near the outlet mall and expressways. I usually stay on the strip so I didn't know how I would like being off the beaten path. But we loved that we could go to a Movie or bowl or play Bingo and never leave the building. The only bad thing was our hairdryer didn't work so we called housekeeping to request a new one. When we got back to our room the new hairdryer was on the floor inside the door. Being handy I took the old one off the wall and put the new one on then put the old one on the floor.

This was really a great deal. Very nice place away from the Strip, but still close enough to get tere within minutes. Service was good and the parking was closer than most of the other Hotels. Freeway access was a dream. I will stay here always.

Everything about the South Point is the best. Great places to eat from the finest in Vegas to a great little deli. What more could you ever want; 14 movie screens, bowling, the arena, and of course the casino. If you really want the strip action, it only a few minutes down the street, as are the outlets, town center and the airport. The only place to stay if you want to spend your money on having fun and not on your room
