This is the 9th or 10th time that I've stayed here at the South Point. This is not the place to see and be seen in Las Vegas, there are plenty of places for that. This is a great hotel if you don't mind being a little ways down the strip. I seldomly ever pay over $* for a room with a 42"" flat screen TV, granite countertops and tasteful furnishings. The rooms are spotless and quiet. There is a great workout facility and pool. With all the amentities, you might never leave. Great Steak house, Prime Rib restaurant, and maybe the best restaurant in Vegas, Michaels, and the best breakfast buffet I've ever had (look for coupons for the 2 for 1 deal). Movie theater, bowling alley, etc. We even convinced one of our manufacturers to hold a sales meeting there. Great job on that too. Equestrians will know this hotel as it has the largest equestrian facility in the Wester US.

This was a very nice hotel. The rooms are nice & the cleaning service couldn't have been more kind & courteous. The food we had was excellent. The pizza we had for a snack in the Del Mar Deli was very good and quite large for the price $7 2 slices & drink. Our party of 4 agreed that all meals were very good. There is alot to do at this hotel. Pool is very nice. The building was designed that even though outside the hotel it was windy and cool - in the pool area - because of the height and reflection of the bldg - the temp was great for sunning - the pool is not heated. The pool is about the only thing at this hotel that you don't have to pay extra for... the spa & fitness center are nice - but you have to pay - $15 a day EACH to use them - kinda overpriced - but the overall price on the hotel was great... so maybe it all evens out - you pay only for the amenities you want to use. The slots were tight - none of us came out ahead... we didn't see anyone winning anything significant. Check in was horrendously long & at registration i asked about the spa & fitness center & they told me to check the info in the room. When i went to use the fitness center early in the day - i found I had to go clear back to the registration desk & BUY access. Also room keys deactivated mutiple times. Frustrating! Customer service needs improvement. Business center wanted $11 for use of internet and $1 page for printing boarding pass!! Hotel is only 4 miles from airport. Outlet shopping between airport & hotel.

I visit Vegas frequently, for both personal and professional business. Approx 6-9 times a year. I have to say that this hotel was great, and the rate I got through here was terrific. The hotel itself was very clean, our room was huge. The staff was very polite and cheerful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in vegas, and doesn't mind being about 15 minutes south of the strip. Those who are not familiar with Vegas, it's no big deal, the property is on Las Vegas Blvd, all you have to do is go north, and your on 'the strip'. Both my wife and I enjoy gambling, and unlike most casino's, the employees here don't look and act like they want to hang themselves. That's a big thing for us. If I'm spending money with you, at least PRETEND you want me there. We really felt welcome. The only bad thing I can think of is after 10pm, the only food you are going to get, at the hotel, is the 24 hour cafe. The food's not bad though. Surprisingly good cheeseburgers. Don't order the 'midnight steak special' it looks like they take any steaks they didn't sell, and put them on special. Mine was pretty bad. I only made that mistake once. This was my first time staying at South Point, and I can say with 100% certainty, we would stay again. People with kids, they have a bowling alley, theatre, and arcade upstaris. Security is everywhere, and although we usually go to Vegas without the kids, we could bring them and they wouldn't be bored our of their minds.

Hotel was have some interior renovation done but this did not result in any hassles. Bed was comfortable and staff was excellent all around. Ate at the 2nd floor steak house and the Prime Rib was great. A first class hotel and I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to a friend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Resort! I stayed there for Business and being 21 it had the elements for you to have a decent time! The Staff is great! friendly, helpful, and made the stay that more enjoyable! The Rooms are great nice beds, great lounging area in the room. The Resort has a lot of things to do if you don't feel like leaving the facility! Only one bad compliant was the shuttle service was inactive when i stayed so it was cab fares boo!! I suggest renting a car honestly if your that far from the strip. I will definitely stay again when I visit Vegas soon! Can't beat the price!
