- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

We love this hotel! The rooms are much bigger than expected and gave our kids a lot of room to play. We were able to satisfy all the wants of our kids with the bowling alley, movies, and access to the Strip. This hotel is off the Strip, but it is well worth the price and there is easy access to the main part of Las Vegas. We will definitely be staying here again!

This by far was a great hotel very clean nicely decorated comfortable and the free buffett that we had for lunch was very good thank you for the recommendation will return again and would recommend it to anyone well worth the price and not too far from the main strip we had four rooms and we were all very pleased

SouthPoint is our favorite Place to stay. The Rooms are always nice, clean, comfortable, Safe. We enjoy all the staff. From Check in, Poker Room (Excellent dealers, Good payouts. Big Al's Oyster Bar is the Best! When we go to Vegas we think of SouthPoint first. We're Non Smokers, Just stay away from those that do.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. They have changed their check in procedure so you no longer have to wait a long time to get your room. The people are very friendly everywhere. The 24 hour coffee shop is very good and the servers are super friendly. They have a beautiful movie theater right on the property so if you want to catch a flick during the day, the senior price is only three bucks! How can you beat that? If you like bingo, they also have that on the property and they are very helpful if you don't know what you're doing. The pool is on the small side so that's a minor inconveience. Now, if you are young and a "swinging hottie" this place is not for you but this is perfect for the older traveler who is on a budget and wants to be away from the terrible crowds and traffic on the main part of the strip. If that's you, then this is the place!
