- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

I read the reviews online, they are pretty positive that's why I choose this hotel. The location is AWEFULLY far from the strip, you need to get on the high way to drive for 5 miles to get there. I didn't expect it was that far. What's really upsets me is the service. When I got to check in my room, I didn't notice the bed is terribley made! The thicker sheet to keep the mattress clean under the bedsheet is totally wrinkled. If you just feel it with your hand, it's BAD. I never seen a hotel like that, a not flat bad cuz the house keeping didn't iron it and just put the cover on it. When I pulled up the cover to see what's going on, the shee was totally tangled together and it needed to be ironed. In addition, there are hairs on it too. GROSSS! What makes me mad is the attitude of the customer service. When I called to adress this concern, all they offered is the solution to sove the problem, but they don't bother to go extra miles to make this experience right. I demanded to talk to a suepervier and I got YELLED at by the supervisor in a ver disrespectful way. I escalated this concern to the manger on duty the next morning and she listend, sort of. But still ,nothing to correct the whole customer service experience is done.

Our family has stayed at South Point Hotel about 5-6 times over the years. During our last stay I woke up with about 8-10 bug bites on my back, shoulder, and arm. I tried to work with the Hotel management but they claim they did not find any bugs. This pictures of my body is proof. It's a great hotel, but I'm scared to take my family back!!!

Southpoint is a great place to stay if you don't enjoy the Strip. There are plenty of things to do without leaving the casino/hotel including great eating places. (Steak and Shake is a great addition!) The room was clean and comfotable.
