- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

Traveled to Vegas to see the Beatles " LOVE " show at the Mirage,but chose to stay at South Point because of the great deal we got on the rooms , was kind of apprehensive ,but WOW Fantastic hotel! (we've stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels )and Southpoint was much more than we expected Huge rooms ( we had 4 rooms in our group ) Very Clean which is always so important, Comfy beds ,great linens ,Spa -like shower ,wonderful toiletries from Bath and Body works, We also enjoyed the bowling and movies ( great coupon book ) Yummy buffet great food Again great food and service in their restaurant (forgot the name of it ) Only negative is that you do need a car to drive to the "strip" ,however for the great price it was well worth it, we will definately stay here again .

The hotel is not close to the strip, which has benefits - no congestion, for one. They do have a shuttle if you want to go to the strip, so you're not stuck. The staff is very helpful, and they treat you like they're actually glad you're there. There's bowling, a movie theater, and plenty of restaurants - the buffet is wonderful! We had a restful, pleasant time, and would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time at South Point. Not wanting to be right on the strip, this hotel and casino were exactly what we had hoped for. Large, comfortable rooms with beds to match provided us with a quiet retreat when we finally ran out of steam! The staff was helpful and the facilities were amazingly clean. I'd highly recommend.

Rooms clean, friendly staff, lots to do right on the premises. Restraunts serve good food with nice variety. Casino clean and even won a little bit, but took it all back again :-( . Have to have a rental car to get around, but free parking and free valet. Nice place and will be going back I'm sure!
