- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

I have stayed at South Point three times and every time I go back it gets better. Great buffet great restaurants great wait staff fantastic pit bosses and a great gambling floor. As far as I am concerned there is no better place for even three times the money to stay. Outstanding! Planning another trip in February!

My husband and I grabbed a few days before the holidays just for us, and headed to Las Vegas. It rained the whole time we were there, but we hardly noticed because the hotel/casino was so accommodating. We have stayed in this city many times, and have never experienced a hotel like this. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had more than enough to do without leaving the property. We felt that the slots were loose, the staff was pleasant, and the food was great. Beyond all that, the price was crazy inexpensive!!! They also handed out useful coupons, ie free lunch, popcorn at the cinema, discounts at food shops, and free deserts. We will definitely return there soon.

the rooms are huge... the beds are great....and the staff is friendly and able to help with any needs... and for us the location was great I don't like having to deal with the traffic of the "strip" out side my hotel. this hotel is south of the Airport on LAS VEGAS BLVD but its not on the "strip" my wife and I have found a new home away from home in Vegas....

Despite the inconvenience of hiking through a casino to find the front desk, then hiking another hundred yards to access the elevators, the room was excellent: very large and well appointed; big flat panel tv; very quiet and luxuriously relaxing. A private world apart from the casino below.

This is my second visit staying at this Hotel and the rooms are always kept very clean and nice. A couple of disappointments were I did not care for the coffee pot in the room - it is a 1 serving cup only, only 1 regular coffee grounds packet supplied, and only 1 small powdered cream per cup - which I need plenty more, I would liked to have had that stocked better and go back to regular hotel pots. Next, I would have gladed reused the same towels I had hung back up but those were changed daily but I couldn't understand why they wouldn't restock my soap/hair products supplies. I would have liked new bars of soaps daily and lotions and saved on washing my towels. There was only a sign to reuse your sheets until after the 3rd night, which I only was there 3 nights, but nothing about saving water on reusing your towels but they don't say that you have to reuse the soap and don't get any new stock. Everything else in the room seemed to pleasant other than that.
