Important Hotel Information
- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

It was nice and an okay value for the hotel. We enjoyed the different restaurants and amenities such as movie theatre, bowling, etc. that SouthPoint had to offer. The casino had a good variety of slot machines.

I give South Point the highest recommendation possible. They don't gouge you at every turn like the strip hotels. Rooms are very good, the pool is not overly crowded; many food options, reasonably priced drinks, no resort fees; excellent entertainment options within the hotel. Bowling and movies are even an option onsite. This is undoubtedly the best overall option in Las Vegas. One word of warning: The shuttle to the strip should be avoided at all costs. Many rude drivers, company is unresponsive to any issues or problems. As much as it hurts, use a taxi. Don't let the shuttle company ruin your evening like they did mine.

Overall this is a good place to stay. Could be cleaner and wish they didn't charge a small fortune for internet use. Most hotels I have stayed at provide that service for free. The rooms and bathrooms are good size which is nice when there are two people sharing. Didn't feel the buffet was worth the money. Had a buffet at another place and it had about 5 times the amount of food for only $1 more.

This hotel was a very good bargain. I loved almost every part of my stay. All of the hotel and casino staff were very helpful. The room was immaculate, and very well maintained. With a hotel off of the strip in las vegas, I was concerned. However it was either between this hotel or the stratosphere, and I am more than overwhelmed that I decided to stay here. The stratosphere is much older and much more disgusting. My only negative note is the workers, waiters, and employees of the restaurants within the hotel. All of them had very bad attitudes, and did not want to help us out. Other than that my stay was very pleasurable.

The hotel was nice and the staff was courteous. The hotel also has nice amenities, such as the spa, gym, movie theater and bowling alley. The only issues encountered had to deal with noisy neighbors.
