- Beginning March 1, 2013, the South Point Hotel will be charging a nightly resort fee of 12.50 plus tax, 14.00 total. This fee will include in room Wi-Fi, use of fitness center, local and toll free phone calls from guest rooms, boarding passes, and airport shuttle.

Stayed here for our anniversary and was not disappointed. We live in Vegas and it was our staycation. Rooms were beautiful, clean, new, and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for locals and out of town guests. Not too far from the Strip and great value for your money.

We had a great experience at South Point, the air quality through the casino's was better than some we've stayed at. The room was very spacious, modern and updated. We arrived 2 hours before check-in but wasn't hassled, our room was assigned right away. There really isn't anywhere you can park that you can easily access the hotel, it's still a long walk. Security was very helpful, we were allowed to park our trailer in a secure area so we didn't have to drag it all over Vegas. My number one and only complaint was the bed. In my opinion, a 4 star hotel should have an excellent bed! Our bed was OK, but it would have been better if they would have left off the plastic mattress protectors! Other than parking, and cheap mattress pads, it was a very nice place to stay.

My wife and I stayed there during the SEMA show and even though it added a 15 - 20 minute drive to get to the Convention Center, it was well worth saving the money on the room. We will stay there again.
