    My wife and I stayed at South Point several months ago and were very pleased. On my next visit to Las Vegas I chose to stay here again and was just as pleased. I drive to Las Vegas from Arizona and make calls on clients during my visits. The hotel location is convenient to I-15 and I-215. Best of all, I hate the nuisance of driving along and around the Strip and South Point gets you out of all that mess. Good restaurants so you can have clients meet you at the hotel for lunch or dinner -- and they appreciate not having to come to the Strip. Rooms are generous in size. Bathrooms are nicely arranged. Whole place is very clean and friendly. Drawbacks are no refigerators in room, and a daily charge for in-room internet service.

    This casino is self sustaining away from the strip. It is relatively new and in excellent condition. There are many machines for slot play, tables for enjoyment, a large range of eating alternatives, a full assortment of movie theaters, bowling, bingo, etc. A car is recommended if you wish to enjoy the various side trips like the bridge over Lake Mead, Grand Canyon, and last but not least the rest of the strip and the various shows that are available.

    I booked this hotel for a last night stay with my two teenage children before an early morning flight. We enjoyed watching a movie at the hotel and I played a few slot machines while my kids went to the arcade. The front desk printed out my boarding passes for me which was really great. We did not have time to go to the strip, but I had searched extensively on-line for a clean well-maintained hotel in Las Vegas with activities for teens, and was very happy with the South Point. It is very luxurious and was a great value. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with or without children.
