the room was dirty. the floors were dirty. It was buggy - there were little tiny bugs all over the sink & bathroom. Not fleas & not ants. I don't know what they were; but they were in our stuff - they were everywhere! Even our ziploced bags packed for the plane. The TV only had 4 channels and a practically blacked out picture. we couldn't see anything on it anyway! The door was falling off its hinges - you could see through it to the outside. I had to wedge the bottom to get it to stay shut. would never stay here again.

The hotel room was clean, but not very modern. The sockets were coming out of the walls so hopefully they will fix that. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room I would chose somewhere else, but if it is just to sleep in this place was good. It is close to dining and Disney World, wet and wild is just down the way.

and the rooms weren't any better. The 'concierge' was rude and unhelpful. The front desk staff seemed harried despite there being two on the desk and only one or two customers including myself. This was the dirtiest Days Inn I've ever seen, and worse than far cheaper chains. This property DESPERATELY needs to be rehabbed, including the addition of adequate lighting in all common areas. The only positive was the price, and even that was only low due to the inclusion in a package and being out of season.

We found our mattress pushed up against an electrical outlet. We had to ask for a remote for the TV our first night there and had to ask for clean drinking cups nearly every day. There was no internet access to print our boarding passes for the trip home. They had ""for a fee"" access in their little cafe which was open limited hours. There were people having heated arguments all hours of the night outside our room. Couldn't wait to get home to a good night's sleep. The only good thing about this motel was that it was within walking distance of Universal Studio. We didn't have to use their shuttle service for this park. We did use the shuttle for our trip to Disney. We were charged a daily shuttle fee on our room but only used it one day. We were appalled to see a sign at the front of the shuttle stating that tips were a very important part of the driver's salary and greatly appreciated. This experience will probably keep me from ever booking a room at any Days Inn in the future.
