    Was in town for a conference and had an enjoyable experience at the Four Points. The bellman and front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was solid and all of the downtown area attractions/nighlife are within walking distance.

    This is not a very big or luxurious hotel but is OK for a weekend or short trip primarily due to the fact that it is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and theaters. The lobby is so tiny that staff members at the desk and doormen routinely greet every guest entering and leaving the hotel. The rooms are pretty standard, nothing special. Views are very limited since there is a direct line of vision into rooms at The James across the street. The fitness room was unbearably hot. There isn't a single fan or any type of air circulation system to make the room more comfortable for those using the equipment. The stash of umbrellas in the lobby was a bonus for those not prepared for some very rainy days. The best features of the hotel are its location and the positive impression created by a very friendly, helpful staff.

    This is an excellent property, only a few years old. WHen we checked in (early), we were told our room was ready and that we were being upgraded to a suite. It was a nice size room with good beds; even with four of us in the room, it was not crowded. Every staff member we came upon greeted us and was very friendly and eager to be of help. The staff person at the desk when asked about which bus route to take to The Museum of Science and Industry wasn't sure, and got another staff member to advise me against my planned route, and suggested another safer route. Another staff member gave us a card to present at The Cheesecake Factory so we could get preferred seating - it worked! Instead of a 45-minute wait we only waited 15 minutes. The pool was crowded with little kids every night, but after all, this was Easter break. When exploring the immediate area, we were delighted tofind a Trader Joe's market on the same block. This is a great area; walk a few blocks west on Ontario, or several blocks north on Rush to find restaurants and clubs. I also recommend taking the Amtrak train, as we did from the Detroit area. Chicago knows the meaning of Public Transportation.

    We read all the reviews of this hotel prior to booking our trip. They were accurate. This hotel was very clean and had an excellent location for all activities on the City Pass. The staff was outstanding, they were so friendly and helpful with every detail. Our children could not wait to get back to the hotel to share their stories with the staff (and they were always eager to hear from the children too). We would highly recommend this hotel to other families.

    Check in and check out very quick and easy. Front desk and bell hop very courteous and helpful. Received great directions and good tips on where to eat and how to get there. Very convenient location to walk to restaurants and shopping. Room was clean and quiet. We were on a non-smoking floor that was actually non-smoking. All around great stay.
