Our family of 5 stayed at Reunion Resort for 3 nights. We do not travel often and we do look for good deals. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. The price we paid for the villa was the same as I would normally have to pay for a nice hotel room to fit us all. Everything about the resort was extremely clean. It was as though we were staying in a luxurious condo. Stainless appliances, dishwasher, granite countertops, any kitchen utensil/dish you would need, quality living and bedroom furniture, great mattresses (no back aches!), flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and living room, big showers. Great pools and many of them. My children (ages 16, 14, 12) were whining about the "kiddie" water park when I showed them the resort online but I couldn't get them away from it. Nice lazy river. We used the workout room - nice equipment. My husband and son golfed - beautiful, challenging courses! Free shuttles are available to take you throughout the grounds if needed. All staff (registration, golf course, water park, housekeeping) were very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. If there was one downfall I would say it is the "dress code." We are very casual people. When we travel someplace warm we like to wear jean shorts and tank tops. Men are expected to wear collared shirts and women should also dress nicely. Well, we didn't and we didn't have any trouble. My children wore tank tops and we wore t-shirts and jean shorts (except on the golf course - definitely no denim and collared shirts are a must.) Grocery stores and shopping were very close to the resort. Would definitely stay again!

The overall experience was pleasant. The rooms were nice and well kept. The resort was as advertised; beautiful with several pools for the kids to enjoy. several drawbacks were evident and consistent with other comments I have read. The facility lacks good customer service. It could be it is so large and understaffed. We were in the front of the facility away from the mainstream and better quality rooms. I tried to change rooms but was told they were full. The place loOked pretty empty to us. With that said, I would still recommend the place because of cleanliness, comfort, space, and location to everything like Disney w/o being in the middle of everything. I would return and would highly recommend the facility

With the resorts around Disney steadily declining in quality of service and accomodations, the Ginn Reunion Resort truly stands out among the rest. This is the undoubtedly the BEST resort in Orlando. Everything from the grounds to the level of service, to the front desk and operations are top notch. We travel often and appreciate it when a resort gets everything right. The water park - I could not drag my kids away. The seven eagles pool - crowded yet you never get the feeling of being overrun. Very relaxing. Our unit was a three bedroom villa. WOW. The decor (every room had a definted decor but all tied in), appointments (like a plasma flat screen in every room), and cleanliness (it was as if no one had ever used the THREE bathrooms in our unit) were absolutely jaw dropping. My family and I will make this our home away from home as often as possible. I am surprised more people do not catch on. I have been telling friends, coworkers and family about Ginn. Hopefully it will stay the paradise that it is now for a long time to come.

First off I am not cheap, I am willing to pay for comfort and quality. When reading reviews myself I always take into account that people are bias looking for a cheap place to stay and in doing so they make compromises. This however, is not me. I will say that what led me to Reunion Resort was the particularly high price I was quoted by Disney to stay at a luxury hotel of $*** a night for 2 double beds, at the wilderness hotel. I've stayed at many hotels all over the U.S. and paid $*** or more per night that were world class, that does not come to mind when describing Disney properties, I discovered Reunion by chance on online travel website. While there were only 12 or so reviews, they were all outstanding which peaked my curiosity. Check in was pleasant and quick. There is a concierge on hand which I would expect from a high end facility, I did ask for recommendations on places to eat. They do have on site dining but it was Monday and their steakhouse is closed. The recommendations were excellent. I paid a little extra per night for their upgraded 3 bed 2 bath facility for my family of 4. We have a 16 and 11 year old. When you first open the door, your immediate thoughts are 'Wow' impressive and after you explore the immense size and quality of the living space you will never want to stay anywhere else. In fact you may want to stay longer. Forget the ammenities when making your decision, that is merely a bonus. The rooms are immaculate, the beds are to die for. I have no exhausted by 300 word limit to this review, please do yourself a favor book Reunion, its everything you want...

I stayed with my twelve year old son for four nights in a one bedroom suite at the reunion resort in Orlando Florida last week. The resort is beautiful and the pools are fun. The water park in the resort is great for children although very crowded when we were there (could not find a lounge chair). We ate at the golf club several times and enjoyed all our meals. The one big problem was the water in our room. There was a tub and shower. I called to let them know that there was no water to the tub and I think they came to look at it but then the people in the unit below us had water leaking from our tub area into their ceiling. Our tub never did work. In the shower, the water would go from cold to scalding making for some very brief showers. I never complained any further because I just did not want to deal with it while on vacation but they obviously need to fix this unit. One thing I was very happy about- there are paved sidewalks at the resort which allow for walking/jogging. This is not always true in Florida.
