Was greeted warmly upon check-in, and after reading some reviews about noise issues, asked about a room in a quieter area and was given a first-floor king. Spacious and clean. Only beef with the room was that the heater smelled as it was probably the first time it was used all year - the weather was just turning cooler at night. The morning breakfast was OK, sort of bland with the usual 'continental' fare of make-your-own waffles, bagels/muffins, fruit, cereal, etc. You need to get there early for the best selection. Eating out is easy, a mall and several restaurants are a short 1-2 minute drive away, or walk, although it's on a busy thoroughfare at a major freeway interchange. Avoid the Wendy's next door.

The staff was excellent! They immediately took care of every need I had, and was very friendly. I stayed in a suite, the size was amazing, cant comment on the view because my room was on the back of the hotel, the hot tub was as small as a regular bath tub nothing "SUITE" about that. The hot tub in the main lobby was cold so that defeats the purpose of the name. Other than the stated short falls, it was an overall nice stay & quiet. Waffle House was right by also!

We arrived at the hotel and had to circle a couple of times to find a parking spot. The lot is very tight in front with more parking - which was not very well lit - in the back. The front desk staff was very nice, and already apologetic that, due to high occupancy, our room might be "a little noisy", but that the A/C noise should help. The room itself was very large, but really needed updating. The carpets in the hall and room were stained. We immediately noticed the sounds of vehicles speeding up and down the highway outside - so we turned on the A/C .... not a lot of help. We turned on music as well - still tons of road noise. Every whining, revving, or racing engine, all night long. I tend to stay in hotels near highways for convenience when I am traveling in unfamiliar spots, and I have NEVER heard anything like this, including many stays in Manhattan.

The bed was so soft and comfortable that I could have stayed in it all day. Room was roomy. I had no complaints about the service. The breakfast was nice - make your own waffles, sausage, eggs and the usual. The pool was very small and the hot tub was so uncomfortably tiny that we avoided both. If you don't mind skipping the pool amenities then this is an overall great place to stay.
