I was really impressed with how beautiful the room was decorated and SO clean. I'm very impressed. This is coming from a mom of 2 kids and an aunt of a year old baby we took with us to the trip. The only sour note was how we got billed twice and the staff was not up to par when it comes to service. If they improve this bit then this hotel would be 5 stars in rating.

The staff went out of there way to help us free welcome and were very helpful. The directions they gave to help us get around city were excellent. The Service staff that when shopping for our groceries was very conscience of the fact we were a girl scout troop on a budget.

This hotel is within walking distance to the National Mall. It is also within walking distance of a grocery store, serveral sandwich shops, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The free hot breakfast was nice. There were eggs, muffins, potatos, make your own waffles, friut, yogurt, sausage,oatmeal ect so something for everyone. Staff was helpful and courteous, rooms clean.

This hotel was in a great location. Most monuments were a short walk away. The only negative was that there is not a lot of dining options in this area. There is a Potbelly deli, McDonalds, Quiznos Subs, and a Starbucks within walking distance; but if you're looking for more of a sit-down meal you'd have to go to Chinatown (which is just a short Metro ride or walk away). The Metro is right around the corner from the hotel. The pool and hot tub area could use some updating.

Stayed here for 5 nights on a trip with a friend. Although directly next to the hotel, there was nothing around, it was only a couple blocks away from the Metro, which could take you anywhere in the city. If you have a car, the parking is rather steep, but there we found parking nearby very easily. Close to all the sights, we had really enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly, had a free breakfast every morning, and if we got tired, we could come back quickly to rest for a few hours. There were plates, utensils, glasses, microwave, dishwasher, and even pots, pans, and a stove for those times we wanted to reheat our leftovers from the night before. Great way to save money on food! The only con I had was that the hotel was not that close to the nightlife or Duport Circle.. So if you wanted to go to any clubs, you would have to drive or take the Metro.
