Stayed for the Wineglass marathon and was looking for an inexpensive place to stay. It did smell a little smokey even though it was a non-smoking room. Most likely from the wind blowing it in from people smoking near the door. They should move the ashtrays away from the main entry. Room was smaller but met needs. Tub dripped and shower diverter valve was noisy but water temp. was good. Not a bad stay, but is truely a no thrills location. Next day race was great!

As advertised, the hotel looked recently remodeled. Everything was clean and well maintained, with the only exception being that the towels seemed rather old and worn (well-laundered, though). It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in a room this inexpensive. The lack of an alarm clock was more in line with the price point! :) Noise from other rooms was almost nonexistent (cinderblock walls halped). Forget the continental breakfast - make use of the microwave instead. A danish and coffee is about it. I would definitely stay here again - it's an excellent value, as long as amenities like WiFi, a real breakfast, pool. etc. are not required.

I knew we were in trouble when I saw the rasberry painted trim! Front desk is worthless and very unimpressive. The rooms haven't been updated since the 80's. Cellophane was still on lampshades, a particleboard wardrobe to hang your clothes, TV remote didn't work and the bathroom was unbelievable! The tub was worn and grungy and when we turned the shower on we got a small spray of water, like a hose nozzle that wouldn't turn off completely. You had more water coming out of the faucet than the showerhead. We asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking one - they didn't have anything else available. The A/C unit was loud and you couldn't sleep with it running. The walls were thin and we could hear everyone talking in the halls outside our room. Towels are at a premium here. There aren't many hotels around Keuka Lake and they book up fast. This was the only one available when we booked 2 months ago. Next time we'll book a year in advance and stay elsewhere.
